Delivery times

Sticks & Cups ships orders using PostNL and, for selected international destinations, other postal services.

Whenever possible, we use lightweight and compact packaging. We may vacuum-pack yarn to reduce the size of a parcel, helping us keep shipping costs and transport volume as low as possible. Smaller orders may fit through your mailbox, so you do not need to be home to receive them.

We aim to hand your order over to the carrier within 1–2 working days.

When tracking is available, you will receive a Track & Trace link as soon as your parcel has been processed by the carrier.

Shipping costs

Netherlands

For delivery within the Netherlands, you can choose delivery to your address or, where available, delivery to a PostNL pickup point.

Standard PostNL shipping: €4.95

For orders over €50, we do not charge shipping costs within the Netherlands for parcels that require standard parcel delivery.

International shipping

International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination and available shipping method.

We use compact packaging whenever possible to keep shipping costs and unnecessary transport volume to a minimum.

For unusually large or heavy orders, we may contact you if an alternative shipping method or additional shipping charge is required.

United Kingdom

Unfortunately, we currently do not ship to the United Kingdom.

Orders outside the European Union

Orders shipped to destinations outside the European Union may be sold without Dutch VAT where applicable.

Please note that your destination country may charge import VAT, customs duties or handling fees when your order arrives. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices or shipping costs.

International tracking

For some international shipments, tracking information may take a little longer to become available after dispatch. As soon as we receive the tracking details from the carrier, we will send them to you.

Returns

You have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

Returning an order

To request a return or cancel an order that has not yet been shipped, please sign in to your customer account and submit your request there.

If you are unable to submit a request through your customer account, please contact us before returning anything.

After submitting a return request, you must send the products back within 14 days.

Products should be returned carefully packaged and, where reasonably possible, in their original packaging. Returned products must be complete and in a condition suitable for resale.

Returned knitting needles, crochet hooks and other tools must be unused and in resalable condition. You may inspect them, but using them for knitting, crochet or another project counts as use. If an item has been used or shows signs of use, we may deduct the resulting loss in value from your refund.

Yarn must be returned unused, unwound and in resalable condition. Please do not knit, crochet, wind, cut or otherwise use the yarn if you intend to return it.

Sets, kits and other products consisting of multiple parts must be returned complete. Missing or used components may result in a deduction from the refund.

Return shipping costs

The cost and risk of returning an order are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is faulty, incorrect or we have agreed otherwise.

We will refund the applicable amount within 14 days after you inform us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned products or until you provide proof that they have been sent back.

If you return your entire order, we will also refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for your original order. Additional costs resulting from choosing a more expensive delivery method are not refundable.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
